The Division conducts a number of different courses that range in length from a few hours to multi class sessions. Course completion may result in discounts in your boat insurance.

At your request and without charge we perform Vessel Safety Checks on your boat or personal water craft (PWC). This is done by specially trained Auxiliarists who are kept informed on the latest legal requirements for boaters. The VSC makes sure that the boater has all of the equipment required by Federal and State law. Only you are told the results. If your boat passes this check it will receive a Vessel Safety Check decal and you can be sure your boats' equipment meets safety standards.
