Flotilla Commander (FC)

Ben Reed

The Flotilla Commander (FC) is responsible for the overall operation of the Flotilla.  The FC presides over all Flotilla meetings, and swears in all appointed Flotilla Staff Officers (FSOs).

Vice Flotilla Commander (VFC)

Don Lindberg

The Vice Flotilla Commander (VFC) serves as second in command of the Flotilla.  In the absence of the FC, the VFC presides over all Flotilla Meetings

Immediate Past Flotilla Commander (IPFC)

Gary Wruck

The Immediate Past Flotilla Commander (IPFC) is the individual who served as the last FC.  The IPFC serves as third in command of the Flotilla, and in the absence of the FC and VFC, presides over all Flotilla Meetings

Navigation Services (FSO-NS)

Anthony A. Weichel

The FSO-NS is responsible for overseeing all aids to navigation patrols, in which USCGA facilities inspect ATONS (aids to navigation) and PATONS (private aids to navigation) to ensure they are operating and visible.

The FSO-CM is responsible for overseeing all Flotilla radio communication facilities and operations.

Communications Services (FSO-CS)

Jason Cyphers

The FSO-CS is responsible for creating and maintaining, the Flotilla's web site.  The FSO-CS is also responsible for promoting electronic communication between it's members.

Finance (FSO-FN)

Jackie Castle

The FSO-FN is responsible for overseeing all the Flotilla's finances.

Information Systems (FSO-IS)

Gary Wruck

The FSO-IS is responsible for gathering all activity reports from Flotilla members, and entering them into the Auxiliary Data Base (AUXDATA).

Susan Lindberg

The FSO-MA is responsible for ordering and maintaining the Flotilla's materials (such as training materials, brochures, etc.).

Marine Safety (FSO-MS)

Rob Castle

The FSO-MS is responsible for overseeing the Flotilla's Marine Safety & Environmental programs, activities, and operations.

The FSO-MT is responsible for providing and overseeing all training provided to members of the Flotilla.

Public Affairs (FSO-PA)

Tressie Ward

The FSO-PA is responsible for providing local publications (magazines, newspapers, TV stations, etc) information about the Flotilla and its activities.

The FSO-PB is responsible for all Flotilla publications, mainly the Flotilla's newsletter, Pamlico Watch.

The FSO-PE is responsible for overseeing all public boater education courses.

Personnel Services (FSO-PS)

The FSO-PS is responsible for meeting with, and providing new members information about the Flotilla and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Recreational Boating Safety Visitation Program (FSO-PV)

Anthony Weichel

The FSO-PV is responsible for visiting local boat and boating supply dealers and retailers, and providing them with information that can be distributed to the public (brochures, BSC schedules, etc.).

Vessel Examination (FSO-VE)

Ray Ward

The FSO-VE is responsible for overseeing all vessel safety checks conducted by the Flotilla.

The Detachment Commander oversees all Flotilla Detachment operations, and presides over all Flotilla Detachment Meetings.
